Right now ragwort is blooming, ragwort is a problem weed in pasture. Livestock are unlikely to graze the live plant. It is seriously dangerous to livestock in a dry form. So when buying hay you need to be satisfied that the pasture was ragwort free. In dried form livestock are more likely to consume the plants.
